Dr Judith Locke delivers a range of sessions for teachers, parents, students, managers, and employees. These include:
- General parenting sessions delivered to specific ages (e.g. primary school or high school) on strategies to help their child appropriately with their schoolwork and responding helpfully to their child’s issues at school, improve parents’ relationship with their child, build genuine self-esteem in their child, and ensure parents maintain boundaries and age-appropriate discipline with their child.
- Teacher professional development sessions around parenting including information on the causes and consequences of overparenting, strategies for working with parents who have altered expectations of students and schools, consistency in the classroom, and sessions for leadership teams managing staff in an era of altered definitions of care.
- Parenting sessions to be delivered to parents prior to their child attending school. Age specific sessions include strategies and ideas for parents to assist their child become more confident and capable on their first day of primary or high school and in the early weeks of starting school
- Specific sessions for students on issues including helping the whole family cope with their senior schooling years. Other sessions can be created – just contact us.
